History:

Scalar Solutions was formed at the beginning of 1995 to initially work with small-business computer users. Its founder and principal, Steven Hughes, is a qualified electronics and software engineer with over thirteen years’ experience in the electronics and computing industries. A need was perceived within the computer industry for a supplier offering not only a good product range, but also a high level of technical expertise, integrity and customer service.

As the business developed it was found that businesses of all sizes, while having differences in scale, complexity and budget, share the need for a ‘technology partner’ – a single organisation that can meet all of their computing needs and provide and maintain an integrated, tailor-made system for their particular operation.

Most equipment is supplied with an on-site warranty to ensure peace of mind and minimum downtime.   The company provides free on-call telephone access to its clients to advise on computer-related issues or assist in resolving any difficulties that may develop with regard to software or hardware.
